Grandsons Uwe and Jochen Holy manage the company and start the first factory sale. A simple idea that positions the company as a pioneer.
The brands Bally, Escada and Joop!, alongside Hugo Boss, are the foundation for the further development of Outletcity Metzingen. The first factory outlet in Germany is born.
The first online shop of an outlet destination is successfully launched: outletcity.com. Today the shop offers a selection of over 400 premium and luxury brands which in part differ from the range in Metzingen.
As a result of the new strategic company orientation, which was flanked by the newly developed Gaenslen & Völter Areal with 16 additional stores and celebrated by the opening of the world's largest BOSS outlet, the logo has also changed: modern, high-quality and clean. At the same time, the introduction of the Outletcity App takes shopping to a smart level, which goes hand in hand with the O/Club: O/Club members collect points and are rewarded with bonuses for their loyalty.
New protagonists augment the portfolio of Outletcity: with the opening of the new area Enzian Höfe Beauty, Home & Living stores provide a first-class shopping experience that reaches into one’s home.
The grand opening of the fashion and lifestyle Moxy hotel is one of the great highlights of the year. Tommy's coffee and their new outdoor terrace with a chic courtyard ambience is also being celebrated alongside THE GALLERY, a new location that can be used as an event space for art and culture, networking or celebrations in a private atmosphere.
With the opening of the new Welcome Center, all of our information and services will be united under one roof. The stylish ambiance houses concierge services that leave no guests wish unfulfilled thanks to their expertise in tailored experiences.
