Hölderlin city by the river

Nürtingen is a beautiful town on the Neckar river, surrounded by the Swabian orchard paradise and the Albtrauf. You can go for walks, cycle tours and just chill out – there's plenty to do! The poet Friedrich Hölderlin was inspired by the picturesque corners and winding alleyways in the old town centre. And there's a really varied cultural programme, with concerts, festivals and art exhibitions.
